History of Lady Dawgs SB

The Stamford softball program started in the 1997-98 school year. During that first year the girls were not part of a UIL district and played an outlaw schedule against teams from neighboring towns. It was a learning experience as the first team didn’t fare very well and ended their inaugural season with a 0-17 record.

In the years since, the Lady Dawgs have established themselves as a competitive team and has continued to improve in all facets of the game. Through the 2016-17 school year, the Lady Dawgs have achieved several milestones and continue to work hard to achieve new ones.
