The Bulldogs got off to a lightning quick start with 21 points before the Trojans put together a nice drive to cut the lead to 21-7 in the second quarter. Stamford’s scoring was the result of a punishing ground attach and ended with Zai Zai Smith racking up two TD runs and one from Kellem Woodard. Zai ended the short night with rushing 49 yards. Ligon West had another efficient night behind center with an 8-16 night, 67 yard performance and pushed the ball up the field with 51 yards on 9 carries. Leading receiver was Devin Moncada with 2 receptions for 31 yards. After a lengthy lightning delay following halftime, the game was stopped because of the weather.
